We got tired of being sold to. So we built the referee.
You’ve been marketed at your whole adult life — and lately the menopause aisle alone is a $19-billion business, a lot of it ordinary product in a lavender box with a markup. Her Honest Review is the opposite of that: the honest friend who happens to have tested everything, so you don’t have to.
What we do
We review the products, treatments and ideas that matter in the second half of life — starting with menopause and mature skin, then mindset, dating and grief. Every review leads with the honest verdict, names the cons out loud, and tells you when the free or cheaper version works just as well.
The promises we don’t break
- Human-tested. Real women over 50 use the products for weeks. If a pick fails on irritation, cast or plain disappointment, it doesn’t make the list.
- Named experts. Every piece carries a named expert byline and a stated credential — never an anonymous “staff” review.
- Honest money. We use affiliate links only on things we genuinely recommend. No brand pays to be included, ranked, or reviewed favourably.
